World Exploration Level

This is a guide to Exploration Level for the City Reputation System in Genshin Impact. Read on to learn how to increase and complete the Exploration Level for each region.

What is World Exploration Level？

World Exploration is one of the 4 aspects of the City Reputation system. You will recieve rewards from the City Repuation NPCs for continuing to explore each region.

City Reputation System Guide

Zone Exploration Progress

The Exploration Progress of the major zones contribute to the overall World Exploration Level percentage for each Region. A region will not be 100% complete until each major zone has reached 100% Exploration Progress.

How to Increase Exploration Level

Unlock Waypoints Collect Oculi Open Treasure Chests

Unlocking Waypoints

One of the top priorities when entering a new region is unlocking all of the waypoints and each Statue of Seven. Not only do they allow you easy access to all of the major areas in each regions but it also increases your Exploration Progress for that area which contributes to your over all World Exploration Level for that region.

Collect Oculi

Collectingl the Oculi in each area also contributes to the overall World Exploration Level. If you're having trouble finding them all try using a Resonance Stone or one of the maps below!

Open Treasure Chests

Not only do treasure chests grant you loot and Adventure Rank but they also contribute to your World Exploration Level as well. If you're having trouble finding treasures chests in certain areas be sure to craft a Treasure Compass or take a look at our Treasure Chest Location Guide below!
