How to Unlock
To unlock this quest, you have to complete both the main Event Quest, The Origin of the Lantern, and the first Lantern Rite Tales quest, City of Chores. Some quests are also time-locked, so check back once the event progresses!
Lantern Rite Tales Request
This quest can be found under the Lantern Rite Tales part of the event where you have to complete requests all over Liyue Harbor to increase your Festive Fever level.

- Go to Qingce Village
- Talk to Granny Ruoxin
- Talk to Qingzhou
- Follow Qingzhou
- Talk to the children
- Hang the Lantern Riddle
- Talk to Vermeer
- Talk to Granny Ruoxin
Walkthrough
| Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Go to the quest marker located north of Liyue Harbor and find Vermeer. Talk to Vermeer to begin the request. |
| 2 |  Go to Qingce Village. Teleporting to the waypoint in the marked location will automatically trigger a cutscene and continue the quest. |
| 3 |  Talk to Granny Ruoxin. She will be in the nearby gazebo. |
| 4 |  Go to the quest marker and look for Qingzhou. Qingzhou will be in the offering site with three children. |
| 5 |  Follow Qingzhou by going to the marked locations and gazing at the scenery. You will do this three times before continuing the quest. |
| 6 |  After you have gazed at the scenery three times, go back to the offering site and talk to the children. |
| 7 |  After you talk to the children and Qingzhou, go to the gate and hang the Xiao Lantern riddle. |
| 8 |  Go to the quest marker and report back to Vermeer in the gazebo. This will trigger a cutscene with Vermeer and Qingzhou. |
| 9 |  Talk to Granny Ruoxin to complete the request. |
