How to Unlock
To unlock this quest, you have to complete both the main Event Quest, The Origin of the Lantern, and the first Lantern Rite Tales quest, City of Chores. Some quests are also time-locked, so check back once the event progresses!

This quest can be found under the Lantern Rite Tales part of the event where you have to complete requests all over Liyue Harbor to increase your Festive Fever level.

The Gift of a Lantern Objectives
- Talk to Ms. Bai
- Talk to Jiangcheng
- Use Anemo or Hydro to help Jiangcheng clean the house
- Talk to Jiangcheng
- Hang the Xiao Lantern on the House
- Talk to Jiangcheng
- Follow Ms. Bai back to the Mill
- Give Xiao Lantern Materials to Ms. Bai
Walkthrough
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  Go to the marked location and talk to Ms. Bai to begin the request. |
| 2 |  After talking to Ms. Bai, go to the nearby quest marker and talk to Jiangcheng. Ms. Bai will ask you to help clean his house. |
| 3 |  Look for four dirty spots around the nearby house. The dirty spots look like what's shown in in the image. Talk to Jiangcheng after cleaning all the dirty spots. Use Barbara for faster cleaning! |
| 4 |  Hang the Xiao Lantern by climbing onto the roof of the nearby house. The location of the area is as shown in the image. |
| 5 |  After hanging the Xiao Lantern, talk to Jiangcheng. |
| 6 |  Go back to the Mill and talk to Ms. Bai. To save time, be sure to have the following Xiao Lantern materials before going to the location: |
| 7 |  Give Ms. Bai the Xiao Lantern Materials to complete the request. |

Helping Jiangcheng clean the house
Use Barbara for cleaning
The two separate dirt spots can be cleaned with one of Barbara's normal attacks. The two joined dirt spots in the image can be cleaned by using Barbara's charged attack.
Using Barbara to clean the house is easier because you don't need to use your elemental skill, and you can clean most of the spots with one normal attack (unlike Venti, who needs to use his elemental skill twice for one spot)!
