Although Pom-Pom Oricorio's Ability gives it an advantage against ex Pokemon, it still has a very low HP of 70. Attacks by non-ex Pokemon can easily KO Pom-Pom Oricorio so make sure to have HP items like Giant Cape and Potion at the ready to increase its survivability even by a little.
