Leaf Cape increases a Grass Pokemon's HP by 30, which is better than the Giant Cape. Notably, you can still attach a Leaf Cape to a non-Grass Pokemon, but they will not receive the HP bonus.

If you are running a Grass-type Deck, the Leaf Cape is a must!

Beware of Guzma

Guzma

Be careful of deploying both Leaf Capes right away in case your opponent has Guzma. Guzma can discard all Pokemon Tools on the opponent's side, so even if your Leaf Cape is attached to a Bench Pokemon, it can still be easily trashed.

A counter to Guzma could be Mars who can shuffle and reduce your opponent's hand, but you should still be wary that your opponent might draw this card.
