Power Bracer Effect and How to Get It

Power Bracer is an EV-Training Item used to raise a Pokemon's Attack EVs in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Isle of Armor, and the Crown Tundra DLC. Read on to learn more about this item's effects, how to get it, and how to use it when training competitive Pokemon.

Effect An item to be held by a Pokémon. It reduces Speed but allows the holder's Attack stat to grow more after battling.

Adds +8 to Attack EVs

Pokemon who hold Power Bracer will get +8 Attack EVs for each wild Pokemon defeated.

Recommended Pokemon to Battle

Wild Pokemon give specific EV when defeated. When you are raising a Pokemon's Attack EVs, battle the following Pokemon to gain more.

Pokerus also works with the Power items. So for the Power Bracer, it will multiply the total EVs by two.

For example, if you defeat a wild Chewtle while your Pokemon has the Power Bracer and is infected with Pokerus, the final EV yield will be 18 EVs.

Power Weight Power Weight An item to be held by a Pokémon. It reduces Speed but allows the holder's maximum HP to grow more after battling.
Macho Brace Macho Brace An item to be held by a Pokémon. This stiff, heavy brace helps Pokémon grow strong but cuts Speed in battle.
