Power Anklet is an EV-Training Item used to raise a Pokemon's Speed EVs in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Isle of Armor, and the Crown Tundra DLC. Read on to learn more about this item's effects, how to get it, and how to use it when training competitive Pokemon.

Effect An item to be held by a Pokémon. It reduces Speed but allows the holder's Speed stat to grow more after battling.

Adds +8 to Speed EVs

Pokemon who hold Power Anklet will get +8 Speed EVs for each wild Pokemon defeated.

Recommended Pokemon to Battle

Wild Pokemon give specific EV when defeated. When you are raising a Pokemon's Speed EVs, battle the following Pokemon to gain more.

Power Anklet with Pokerus

Pokerus also works with the Power items. So for the Power Anklet, it will multiply the total EVs by two.

For example, if you defeat a wild Galarian Zigzagoon while your Pokemon has the Power Anklet and is infected with Pokerus, the final EV yield will be 18 EVs.

Passes Speed IV to Child Pokemon

When a Pokemon holding Power Anklet is sent to the Daycare and lays an egg, it will pass on its Speed IVs to its child.

Power Band Power Band An item to be held by a Pokémon. It reduces Speed but allows the holder's Sp. Def stat to grow more after battling.
Power Anklet Power Anklet An item to be held by a Pokémon. It reduces Speed but allows the holder's Speed stat to grow more after battling.
Power Weight Power Weight An item to be held by a Pokémon. It reduces Speed but allows the holder's maximum HP to grow more after battling.
Macho Brace Macho Brace An item to be held by a Pokémon. This stiff, heavy brace helps Pokémon grow strong but cuts Speed in battle.
