Power Belt is an EV-Training Item used to raise a Pokemon's Defense EVs in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Isle of Armor, and the Crown Tundra DLC. Read on to learn more about this item's effects, how to get it, and how to use it when training competitive Pokemon.

Adds +8 to Defense EVs
Pokemon who hold Power Belt will get +8 Defense EVs for each wild Pokemon defeated.
Recommended Pokemon to Battle
Wild Pokemon give specific EV when defeated. When you are raising a Pokemon's Defense EVs, battle the following Pokemon to gain more.

How to EV Train Fast and Reset EVs
Power Belt with Pokerus
Pokerus also works with the Power items. So for the Power Belt, it will multiply the total EVs by two.
For example, if you defeat a wild Rolycoly while your Pokemon has the Power Belt and is infected with Pokerus, the final EV yield will be 18 EVs.

Passes Defense IV to Child Pokemon
When a Pokemon holding Power Belt is sent to the Daycare and lays an egg, it will pass on its Defense IVs to its child.
