You can receive Toxic Orb as a prize for winning the Champion Cup Finals, after finishing the main story.

In celebration of Pokemon Day, you can catch the Kanto starters in Max Raid Battles for a limited time.
Along with that, you can also get Toxic Orb as reward for defeating Bulbasaur or Ivysaur.

Stepping-Stone Sea Map and Obtainable Pokemon
The Toxic Orb has the effect of inflicting the Badly Poisoned status effect on the holder.
This is useful when held by a Pokemon that can learn the moves Trick and Switcheroo, allowing them to switch items with the opposing Pokemon and inflicting the poison status effect on them.
It's also an option for Guts users to active their Ability, alongside Flame Orb.
