Good for Sub-DPS Kazuha

If you don't have any Elemental Mastery weapons, Kazuha is a good choice to equip Toukabou Shigure, as he scales well with Elemental Mastery. Kazuha can increase his own personal damage while also providing Elemental DMG buffs to his party members!

Good for Dendro Reaction Characters

Characters with who can trigger Dendro Elemental reactions on-field like Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Aggravate are good choices for using this weapon. However, this weapon is currently not the Best-in-Slot 4-Star weapon for any character.

Toukabou Shigure vs. Iron Sting

Because this weapon's passive can only work on one enemy at a time, Iron Sting is better than Toukabou Shigure in AoE situations. Moreover, you will need to have the weapon holder on-field and hit the enemy to trigger its passive before you can switch out.

Toukabou Shigure's on-field restriction

This video shows that switching to Wanderer before hitting the enemy with Shinobu's Elemental Skill does not trigger the passive. Only after Shinobu switched back in did the weapon's passive activate.

This means that this weapon is restrictive if your character mainly operates off-field.
