How to Collect 3 Portions of Core Propulsion by Defeating 3 Slimes
Defeat any Type of Three Slimes
The best location to find Slimes and collect three portions of Core Propulsion is at Jueyun Karst in Liyue. Equip your Material Collector gadget, then defeat the Slimes to charge it up to 100%!
There will be at least seven Electro Slimes that will spawn in this area, but you can also check other locations in the world to find Slimes!

How to Collect 4 Portions of Core Propulsion by Defeating 2 Specters
Defeat any Type of Two Specters
To find two Specters and collect four portions of Core Propulsion, you have to search around Watatsumi Island, Seirai Island, and Enkanomiya in Inazuma and defeat them. These are the only locations you can find them!
Watatsumi Island contains the easiest locations for Specters, but you can also check out other Specter locations on the guides below:

How to Collect 4 Portions of Core Propulsion by Defeating 1 Hypostasis
Defeat Any Hypostasis Once
The Electro Hypostasis is generally the easiest Hypostasis variant to beat, but remember to go for the Hypostasis that you find easiest to go against!
The Electro Hypostasis will be in Cape Oath in Mondstadt, and defeating it lets you collect all four portions of Core Propulsion to complete this third and final process. Here are other Hypostasis guides to know more about their locations and how to defeat them:

Other Enemies for Core Activation
Core Activation Process in Freestyle Creation
For Freestyle Creation, you have to complete the three processes again to obtain vouchers for the Robot products you like starting from July 2, 2022. This time, there are more possible enemies you can defeat in order to complete this process again.
Your initial blueprint voucher will be random, but you can defeat specific enemies to get the ones you want!

How to Unlock Core of the Apparatus
You can unlock Core Activation for Core of the Apparatus after completing the "A-Toymaking We Shall Go: Core Propulsion." The quest comes after you complete the Elemental Charge Day 2 Stage!
