Collect Materials to Create Robots
Core of the Apparatus is a robot-making event in Genshin. Help a toy merchant from Fontaine create robots and furnishings by collecting materials to earn Primogems and other rewards!
How to Unlock Core of the Apparatus
To unlock the Core of the Apparatus, you need to reach Adventure Rank 30 or above and complete the Ritou Escape Plan part of Chapter 2: Act 1 Archon Quest. You also need to finish the Chisato's Letter World Quest!

Talk to Bertrand in Ritou
You start the event by talking to Katheryne in Inazuma, who then directs you to Bertrand, who's in Ritou. After talking to him, the A-Toymaking We Shall Go World Quest Series will start and unlock Quest Creations, which is an introduction to robot making!

Use the Material Collector
The Material Collector is a gadget used to collect necessary materials for different stages of robot craft! You get this after you finish talking to Bertrand in Ritou!
This gadget is used in the three-step material collection: Source Material Collection, Elemental Charge, and Core Activation!
Material Collector Robot Creation Guide
How to Play Quest Creation
- Source Material Collection: Use the material collector to collect materials in the open world.
- Elemental Charge: Head to a specific location to charge the material collector.
- Core Activation: Defeat enemies to get motive force.
Source Material Collection in Quest Creation
Equip the material collector, then gather materials based on what is required. You can open the Material Collector gadget to see what materials you need to collect. The gadget will mark your progress and once it reaches 100%, the next process will start!

Elemental Charge in Quest Creation
The Material Collector needs to be exposed to a certain Element, which means you need to get exposed to certain character status to charge it! So, you need to charge it with Hydro, you keep the wet status consistent on your character.
You can only charge it this time by going to Congregations of Elemental Creatures, which will be marked on your map. Once the charge reaches 100% it will move on to the next process!
Core Activation in Quest Creation
Defeat an enemy to get their motive force, which will activate the core of the robots. Afterward, head back to Bertrand to start maying robot toys!

Freestyle Creations to Craft Teapot Robots
- Unlocks after completing the A-Toymaking We Shall Go: Mass Production World Quest!
- Check the Product Archive for Robots to make!
- Collect materials like Ores, Local Specialties, and Fruits in the open world.
- Get affected by Pyro, Hydro, or Electro for 15s for the Elemental Charge.
- Defeat certain types of enemies for their motive force.
Unlock Robot Recipes to Redeem Vouchers
Once all tasks have been completed, you can begin creating products to get a Redemption Voucher to redeem your robots!

Place Robots in Your Serenitea Pot
Redeeming your vouchers lets you place your very own robot in your Serenitea Pot! It seems like you can only redeem 4 robots at a time.
How to Claim Redeem Vouchers
To redeem vouchers, you need to talk to Bertrand back in Ritou then choose the '' I'd like to pick a toy to keep'' dialogue option. This will show you all the Robot Vouchers you created or exchanged with friends!
Exchange Robot Vouchers with Friends!
During the event, you can create a Wish List of Product Types for your friends to gift you any Product Type you might not have, similar to the gift-giving system in the Dreams of Bloom and the Born of the Snow events!

You can also gift Product Types to people on your Friends List, depending on what Product Types are on their Wish List. Make new friends, and exchange Product Types within our Co-Op and Friend Request boards:
