To unlock A-Toymaking We Shall Go, you need to unlock the Core of the Apparatus Event. In turn, to unlock the event, you need to complete the Ritou Escape Plan part of Chapter 2: Act 1 Archon Quest and the Chisato's Letter World Quest!

  • Go to Ritou and look for Bertrand
  • Collect 3 ores in the wild
  • Collect 3 flowers in the wild
  • Collect 6 fruits in the wild
  • Return the material collector to Bertrand

Genshin - A-Toymaking We Shall Go Quest 1 - Talk to Katheryne
Talk to Katheryne in Inazuma City, on Narukami Island. She will direct you to find Bertrand.

Genshin - A-Toymaking We Shall Go Quest 1 - Find Bertrand in Ritou
Bertrand will be up the steps from the Teleport Waypoint in Ritou, marked by the event icon!

Genshin - A-Toymaking We Shall Go Quest 1 - Bertrand will give you the Material Collector
After Bertrandt has explained what he needs, he will give you the Material Collector gadget to collect materials with.

Collect three ores of any kind with the Material Collector gadget equipped.

You can collect the same kind of ore, flower or fruit to fill up the Material Collector! This means you only need to find one area with three ores, one area with three flowers, or one area with six fruits to complete the objective!
