Go Near the Marked Location and Have Pyro Applied to You for 15s
Trigger the Burn Elemental Reaction to Apply Pyro
Go to Cape Oath's quest marker and have either Pyro enemies or the Flaming Flowers apply Pyro on you. You can also stand in burning grass to apply Pyro. Just stay in the quest marker with the Pyro status effect until the objective is complete!
We recommend shielding up right as Pyro is applied to avoid damage from Congregations of Elemental Creatures. Here are some characters you can use for shields:

How to Have Hydro Applied to You for 15s
Stand in Water to Apply Hydro
Stay in Yaoguang Shoal's marked location with the Hydro element applied to you until you complete the objective. Here are some easy ways to have Hydro applied to you for 15s:
- Swim near the waters of Yaoguang Shoal
- Get attacked by Hydro Slimes
- Use Barbara's Elemental Skill Repeatedly
We also recommend shielding up as soon as Hydro is applied to you. This will help protect you from being frozen and damaged by pesky Cryo Whopperflowers!
How to Have Electro Applied to You for 15s
Get Electrified to Apply Electro
Stay in Kujou Encampment's marked location with the Electro element applied to you until you complete the objective. Here are some ways to have Electro applied to you for 15s:
- Approach Electro Seelie homes
- Get attacked by Electro Slimes
- Obtaining an Electrogranum from Sakura Boughs
Again, we recommend shielding up while you're affected by Electro. The Electro Slimes aren't as bothersome as other enemies, so just run around the location until you complete this final objective.
Tips to Have Elements Applied to You for 15s Easily
Don't Use Anemo Skills On Yourself
You might blow away any elemental statuses if you use Anemo skills on yourself. This would prolong the 15-second timer and delay the quest!
Shield Up to Avoid Damage from Congregations of Elemental Creatures
Bring shield characters to protect yourself while staying in the marked locations. Geo might be the safest to use since it won't affect any elemental statuses that you have applied.

Run Around While Waiting for the 15s
Another way to avoid damage is running around in circles! It sounds a bit silly, but it's fun watching Elemental Creatures' attacks miss while you're waiting the 15 seconds out!

You can unlock Elemental Charge for Core of the Apparatus after completing the "A-Toymaking We Shall Go: Energy Storage." The quest comes after you complete the Source Material Collection Day 1 Stage!
