Commonly Found Outside Mondstadt

Iron Chunk is easy to find just outside of Mondstadt. Just check the nearby rocks and smash anything that shines and you're sure to net yourself some Iron Chunks.

Recommendation: Found in Dadaupa Gorge

You can find plenty of Iron Chunks in Dadaupa Gorge. The recommended area to collect them is from the waypoint in the Dadaupa Gorge to the Windrise. You'll find many chunks of irons on your way, especially in the hills and canyons near the road.

Ningguang	Ningguang can find any nearby ore with her passive skill, Trove of Marvelous Treasures. She can also use her normal attack to mine any ore.
Klee	Klee can mine ores by using both her normal attack and her elemental skill.
Zhongli	When on Hold, Zhongli's elemental skill can cause any nearby Geo energy (in this case, ore deposits) to explode.

You can also get Iron Chunk by sending characters on Expeditions at the Adventurers' Guild. You will still be able to use your characters while they're out on expedition, so if you want Iron Chunks without the effort, this is a good method!

Iron Chunk is no longer available at higher expedition levels. This means farming time doesn't take too long! You can farm Iron Chunk through expeditions as much as you want.
