How to Get Ability Capsule

Exchange for BP at the Battle Tower

Ability Capsule can be obtained at the BP Shop in exchange for 50 BP. The BP Shop is located in the Battle Tower at Wyndon.

How to Use Ability Capsule

Using Ability Capsule

Ability Capsule is used on Pokemon to change their Abilities.

Almost every Pokemon have more than one Ability, not including Hidden Abilities. Using an Ability Capsule will allow you to get the Ability you prefer on a Pokemon.

This is very useful when you are breeding Pokemon and hatch an offspring with the IVs and Nature you are aiming for but has the wrong Ability.

Do note that a different item is needed if you want to switch a Pokemon's regular ability to its Hidden Ability.
