Some say that Magnezone receives signals from space via the antenna on its head and that it’s being controlled by some mysterious being.
It’s thought that a special magnetic field changed the molecular structure of this Pokémon’s body, and that’s what caused the Pokémon’s evolution.

How to Evolve Every Pokemon

How to Evolve Magneton into Magnezone

Use a Thunder Stone

Although Magneton could only evolve into Magnezone in specific locations in previous games in the series, it can now be evolved by simply using a Thunder Stone on Magneton.

The reason for this is probably because the location to evolve Magneton does not exist in the Galar region, so an alternate method of evolution was necessary.
