Competitive Analysis

Sticky Web has the effect of lowering the Speed of opposing Pokemon that switch into battle.

This is great for defensive and stall teams, as this can effectively cripple the opposing team by lowering their speed making it harder for them to attack first.

It is important to note that this only affects Grounded Pokemon, and items such as Air Balloon, Pokemon with the abllity Leviate, and Flying-type Pokemon are unaffected by this entry hazard.
