List of Fighting-type Moves
There will be times where you need to decide if you should use Black Belt or either Choice Band or Choice Specs.
Advantage | Disadvantage | |
---|---|---|
Black Belt | ・20% damage boost to Fighting-type moves ・Can use all moves |
・Only boost Fighting-type moves |
Choice Band or Choice Specs | ・50% boost to Atk/Sp.Atk | ・Locked to one move |
The right option between these items will depend on how you're going to use your Pokemon's moveset.
If your Pokemon will only rely on one Fighting-type move, then a Choice item will be the better option. If you think your Pokemon needs to use a coverage or any other move somewhere down the road, then let it hold Black Belt.
