Competitive Analysis

Pokemon SWSH - Zygarde Power Construct

Thousand Waves is one of Zygarde's signature moves. This moves hits both of your opponent's Pokemon in Doubles, and unlike Land's Wrath, this move has an additional effect.

Pokemon hit by Thousand Waves are permanently trapped in battle. This means that these Pokemon cannot be switched out unless Zygarde faints or it uses a move that switches it out.

This can be a useful tactic in Doubles where switching in and out is very common. This forces your opponent to make do with the Pokemon present in their field, which most of the time would disrupt their strategies!
