Aha! Looks like Towards the Lighthouse, or Far Away is not locked behind any quest! |
You can unlock Towards the Lighthouse, or Far Away quest by simply gaining access to the Broken Sea area, the remaining area of Simulanka which can only be unlocked by progressing Until the End of the World event quest!
Until the End of the World Quest Guide
After getting the quest from Esnoir, find a way to make the lighthouse stand up. There will be prompts scattered within the quest area which tells you to try to lift the lighthouse up, but you can ignore those and head straight inside the lighthouse.
Scale the tilted insides of the lighthouse, and grab the lamp from where it's originally lodged. Then, talk to Esnoir who suddenly appears behind you, and discuss what you need to do next!
After talking to Esnoir, go to the highest island and hang the lamp at its highest point. To get to the highest island, you need to go through the Shattered Toytanium Mines first, then make your way up to the island by using the floating blue crates along the way!
How to Get to the Highest Island | |
---|---|
1 | To go to the highest island and hang the lamp at its highest point, get out of the lighthouse through the window, and keep walking forward until you see a floating blue crate. There are Shroom-kins along the way, but you can ignore them for now. |
2 | Use the blue crates to propel yourself high enough to reach the Shattered Toytainum Mines. There are five crates in total, so make sure take it slow and easy to avoid falling down! |
3 | From the entrance of the Shattered Toytainum Mines, head straight to the Teleport Waypoint to activate it. Then, go to your left and walk along the toy plank, and climb the ladder to your right. |
4 | Next, head to the floating blue crates to your left, and stand on top of the first one you see. Jumping on it rotates the blue crates in front of it, so make sure to keep on jumping until you see the Oracle Pillars on the boxes connected. |
5 | Land atop the floating crate with the Oracle Pillar, and fly along the magic thread. Then, walk forward and get the oracle pillar lying on the ground, and affix it into the slot to your left. |
6 | Slightly tilt your camera upwards, and connect the two Oracle Pillars when the prompt appears. Then walk along the path to your left, and use the blue crate at the end to reach the highest island. Don't forget to activate the Waypoint after reaching it! |
At the island, talk to Panuelle, the lone toy soldier who's worried that his friend is mad at him. After listening to his worries, he will direct you to go to the Whispering Isle and make a wish to the Three Goddess Statues. Simply glide down from the island to reach it!
Whispering Isle
After arriving at the Whispering isle, immediately activate the Teleport Waypoint, which should be surrounded by three floating stars. The stars will go to each statue if you chase them, but they're not part of the quest so it's okay to ignore them. However, if you choose to follow the stars, each will spawn chests, and give you access to a secret room beneath the Whispering Isle!
To make a wish to the three Goddess Statues, simply approach them and interact. Each statue requires an offering before you can make a wish, but fortunately the one on the right already has the Dragon Scale from when Panuelle made his wish to the Goddess.
The Elegant Statue in the middle is where you'll offer the Lamp from the fallen lighthouse, while the Gentle Statue to the left requires a weapon as an offering.
Toytanium Minesand Search for the “Weapon”
After talking to Paimon at the Whispering Isle, go to the Toytanium Mines, and search for the weapon. The weapon that you're looking for is located within a sealed cavern found beneath the mines, conveniently placed just below the Teleport Waypoint!
How to Search for the “Weapon” | |
---|---|
1 | From the Toytanium Mines waypoint, jump down the ledge and slowly glide towards the fissure with the huge dragon pawprint. The weapon is sealed behind the wall which you must blow up using a toy bomb. |
2 | To get the toy bomb, head over the wooden ledge to your left, and fly along the magic thread to get across the other side. Once there, get the bomb, and head back the same way you came. |
3 | Lodge the Toy Bomb onto the wall, and wait for it to explode. Head inside afterwards. |
4 | The weapon is tightly inserted into the stones, and it won't budge even after it pulling out. Also, each time you try to pull it, a mob of enemies will spawn. That said, pull out the weapon three times. |
5 | After defeating the last horde of Slimes, Paimon will tell you to look around for clues. Simply head to one of the toy gophers to the right of the weapon, and interact with it. The gopher will then dislodge the weapon by burrowing below it. |
Whispering Isleand Make a Wish
After getting the weapon, go to the Whispering Isle again and make a wish. First, head left, towards the Gentle Statue, and offer the weapon. Afterwards, go to the Elegant Statue in the middle, and offer the lamp from the lighthouse to successfully make a wish!
Once the cutscene have concluded, talk to Esnoir and Rozel, and listen to their conversation to finish the quest!
After completing Towards the Lighthouse, or Far Away quest, you can go back to the highest island, and talk to Panuelle again. This time, he'll tell you the location of his friend, Chauvigne, is just underneath the island!
