Who is Barbeloth?
A Mage of Hexenzirkel
Barbeloth or "B" is a mage of Hexenzirkel who practices Hydromancy and Astrology. She's considered to be both friend and rival to Alice, the circle's Elder and Klee's mom.

Mona's Teacher
Barbeloth is Mona Megistus' teacher, whom she often refers to as "Old Hag". Barbeloth tasked Mona to go to Mondstadt to retrieve an item from Klee, which eventually turned out to be her diary that contains a significant portion of her youth.
And perhaps, it is because of reverence and fear that forced Mona to stay in Mondstadt, after accidentally reading the contents of Barbeloth's diary.
Simulanka's Goddess of Prophecy
Barbeloth also assisted in the creation of Simulanka along with fellow mages Alice and M, serving as the world's Goddess of Prophecy.
Her role was to create a possible goal that its inhabitants would try to fulfill, telling them that the Hero of Simulanka would soon come into the world to defeat the Evil Dragon, and to prepare for their coming.

Answers Several of the Traveler's Questions
During the Event Quest, They Once Walked the Starry Sky, the Traveler and their companions needed to reach the top of Constellation Metropole to commune with the Goddess of Prophecy regarding the fate of this world.
However, the statue itself only had limited responses and could only respond to the proper questions, leaving out details such as Simulanka's future, as well as how to leave the world.

Possibly Madame Mage
According to Wolfy, Madame Mage is an amazing witch who can “see the path of fate in the starry reflections” alluding to the Old Hag's Hydromancy. In addition, Barbeloth is also a Visionary, which means creating an artificial space such as the Theater Lobby is a meager task for her.
Mysteriously Always on the Move
During the end of the Hexenzirkel Trial in The Gardener Quest, Alice says that Barbeloth is always on the move, as she is a very health-conscious individual, and nobody seems to know where she exactly is, as she also enjoys the mystique.
Alice also calls Barbeloth by her nickname “Barbie” a lot during the quest.

Summertide Scales and Tales Event
Barbeloth appears in the Summertide Scales and Tales event as the Goddess of Prophecy, functioning as a pre-recorded statue at the top of Constellation Metropole.
Her purpose here is to answer the questions of the Traveler and their companions as they try to fix both the Constellation Metropole crisis and defeat the Evil Dragon.

Barbeloth briefyl appears during The Gardener quest, a subquest of the Paralogism Archon Quest, in a form a huge Dodoco with a blue witch's hat.
She oversaw the second phase of the Hexenzirkel Trial of Albedo, where she summons The Game Before the Gate Weekly Boss.
