Rhinedottir seems affiliated with the Four Shades of the Heavenly Principles, seeing as she is on speaking terms with almost all of the Shades.
Ronova has even muttered to herself about being able to tell apart the works of Naberius as opposed to Rhinedottir's while observing the world she descended on during the Interlude Teaser.

Following a turn of events as first mentioned by Albedo during the Paralogism chapter and later confirmed during the Interlude Teaser, The Ruler of Life Naberius is currently fused with Rhinedottir.
As such, Rhinedottir functions as Naberius' vessel and shows up to any meetings that involve the Four Shades.

Rhinedottir hails from the fallen nation of Khaenri'ah and is a renowned Alchemist from the nation. She's also otherwise known as "Gold" because of reaching the peak of Alchemical sciences.

Among the types of Alchemy, Rhinedottir masterfully practices the Art of Khemia, the alchemical science practiced althroughout Khaenri'ah. It's the same kind of alchemy she's imparted to her creation, Albedo, which he now practices perhaps with the same fervor and mastery as his teacher.
The Art of Khemia focuses on creating and birthing life, apt to the existential condition of lacking natural flora and fauna, long before Khaenri'ah fell.

It's through the Art of Khemia that Rhinedottir successfully created the Kreideprinz, Albedo, as well as the befallen dragon Durin. Aside from these masterful creations, Gold has also created a number of monsters which contributed to the fall of Khaenri'ah and the invasion of Teyvat.
Described as a skeleton dragon with glowing red eyes, Durin is one of the monsters that Rhinedottir successfully created. From Durin's earliest recollections of her mother, Gold, he was told to display his beauty towards the sun with pride.
While it can be assumed that Durin may have misremembered this recounting, it's clear that he was determined to go the land of song and freedom, Mondstadt, where he had met his death on the hands of Dvalin and Barbatos.
Another creation of Rhinedottir are the Riftwolves, monsters of the Abyss who acted as the vanguard during the Invasion of Teyvat, around the same time as the Cataclysm, 500 years ago.
Because they're created by Rhine, the involvement of Riftwolves were presumed to be on the account of her command.
The current Albedo of the Knights of Favonius, is the second and the most successful version of Rhinedottir's Primordial Human Project.
He received the title of Kreideprinz from Rhine shortly after disappearing, and is deemed the "Cretaceous", the greatest work of them all. The first Albedo prototype ended up in Durin's belly, after deeming as a failure.
After decades of lying dormant within the befallen dragon's belly, the Albedo prototype planned to usurp Albedo's place among humans during the Shadows Amidst Sandstorms event.

It's confirmed in the The Last Survivor Of Tenochtzitoc quest that Bakunawa was created by Rhinedottir. The Bakunawa is an enormous beast that inhabited the western side of Natlan five centuries ago alongside other abyssal monsters. Unfortunately, the people of Tenochtzitoc were victims to its sole instinct to devour.

As revealed by Dainsleif, Rhinedottir is one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, alongside Vedrfolnir, Hroptatyr, Rhinedottir, Surtalogi, and Rerir. Although it wasn't detailed what exactly is the Sin of Gold, it's safe to assume that it's closely related to Art of Khemia, the pinnacle of Alchemy practiced in Khaenri'ah.
Chapter 4 Act 6 Archon Quest - Bedtime Story

Rhinedottir is also a member of the Hexenzirkel, a group of Witches congregating mostly for tea parties and Irminsul explorations. Rhinedottir signs as "R", on account to the initial of her name.
