What is the Perilous Trail Event?

Perilous Trail is an event in Genshin Impact 2.7 where you challenge Realms of Guile and War domains with trial characters and stratagems! The event is directly tied to the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act 2 and unlocked domains as the sub-quests become available in the first three days of the event.

How to Unlock the Perilous Trail Event

You need to be at least AR 28 to unlock Perilous Trail. You also have to complete the Spiritstone quest and the whole Chapter 1: Act 3 questline. Itto's Quest, Raiden's Quest, and the Teapot Quest are optional requirements for a better gameplay experience!

After completing the Perilous Trail prerequisites, you'll unlock the first part of the Perilous Trial Archon Quest. Play through that quest to unlock the Realms of Guile and war feature!

Is Perilous Trail Permanent?

The Perilous Trail Archon Quest is permanently available. The Realms of Guile and War is not permanent which means that after June 20, all event domains will no longer be available. So, challenge the event as much as you want while it's here!

Solve Perilous Trail Domain Puzzles

There are three domain puzzles you need to complete under the sub quests of the Perilous Trail Archon Quest! These domain puzzles will also become the backdrop of the event domains afterwards.

Challenge Realms of Guile and War for Perilous Trail Rewards

1	Direcliff Court Deployment rules: • Select 1 character to continue on, while everyone else will be rendered unable to proceed.
2	Kaleidoscope Cage Deployment rules: • Two party members will be selected at random and will enter recuperation mode.
3	Insurgent Twilight Deployment rules: • All party members will have to recuperate for 1 round. During this time, they will not be able to be deployed again.
4	Utmost Deception Deployment Rules: • One member of the current party can be selected to continue on, while everyone else will enter recuperation mode for 2 rounds, within which they cannot be deployed into battle.

Realms of Guile and War are domain challenges with multiple rounds of emplacements inside. Although the Trial Characters are fixed, the stratagems and enemies you get for each domain run are random.
