How to Get Sanctifying Elixirs
All Ways and Locations of Sanctifying Elixirs
You can obtain Sanctifying Elixirs from the following sources:
- Extract Artifacts from the Transmuter gadget
- Reward from Natlan Tribal Troves
- One from paid Gnostic Hymns
- Reward from the Tablet of Tona
Extract From Upgraded Artifacts
You can get Sanctifying Elixirs using the Artifact Transmuter gadget by extracting upgraded artifacts. You need 100 Extraction Progress to create one Sanctifying Elixir. You can only get 1 every patch.
The amount of Extraction Progress obtained is based on the levels of the artifacts used, where each level contributes to one point on the Extraction Progress, meaning you need at least five +20 artifacts to make Sanctifying Elixir.
Artifacts Must At Least be +4
In order for an Artifact to qualify towards Extraction Progress, or being selected as a suitable piece at all, it must be leveled to at least +4 before it can be used in the Artifact Transmuter.
Extraction is Limited Per Cycle
As of the time of Version 5.0's release, you can only obtain 1 Sanctifying Elixir from the Artifact Transmuter for the remainder of the current cycle, which lasts for the entirety of this Version update.
This means that you'll have to wait for the current cycle to end, which usually lasts for a few weeks, before you can obtain more Sanctifying Elixirs through the Artifact Transmuter.
Obtain from Natlan Tribal Troves with Obsidian Rings
On each major Tribes of Natlan, you can find locked entrances where you need their respective Obsidian Rings to open. These treasure troves contain 1 Sanctifying Elixir.
Obsidian Rings can be formed by obtaining three colored Obsidian Fragments randomly from chests on areas that correspond to that Tribe's location. For example, the Children of the Echoes' Precious and Luxurious Chests may randomly give you the Yellow Obsidian Fragment, which is only used on the tribe's trove.

Obtained From Gnostic Hymns
Sanctifying Elixirs is also a reward from the Gnostic Hymn reward set in the Battle Pass. You can obtain them from Level 26, then buying the paid Battle Pass to unlock the elixir.
Reward from Tablet of Tona
The Tablet of Tona, which is Natlan's version of the Fountain of Lucine from Fontaine, also rewards Sanctifying Elixirs to Travelers among many other things!
Offer all the Pyro Sigils you've obtained from chests, quests, and overall exploration of Natlan to the Tablet and get all the rewards it has to offer!

How to Use Sanctifying Elixirs
Define Main and Minor Stats for an Artifact
Sanctifying Elixir is a material that allows players to craft an artifact with the main stat and two minor stats of their choice using the Artifact Transmuter.
This reduces the randomness of the artifact stats that can obtained from farming Artifact Domains.

Amount Consumed is Based on the Piece Created
The amount of Sanctifying Elixir to be consumed in this process varies between set pieces, with artifacts like Flowers and Plumes requiring the least amount of Elixirs, and Goblets requiring the most due to having the most options.
