How to Beat the Anomalous Model Ruin Grader

Freeze the Ruin Grader in Place

Freeze the Ruin Grader by using a Cryo and Hydro Character to momentarily stop it from attacking the Pursina's Spikes! Note that when the Ruin Grader is recharged, you won't be able to freeze it anymore.

Bring an Electro Character

You need to charge the Pursina's Spikes using Electro a couple of times, so bring an Electro Character with you!

Beat it Without Triggering Self-Repair

A good strategy for this is to charge the Pursina's Spikes, then focus on dealing heavy damage on the Ruin Grader. Use an Electro Character to charge up the spikes, then freeze the Ruin Grader in place to stop it from attacking the spikes!

Aim at its Weak Spots to Paralyze It

Use Bow characters to paralyze the Ruin Grader, aim at its weak spots on its legs and on its head.

How to Trigger Self-Repair Twice

To trigger self-repair twice, you need to bring down the Anomalous Model Ruin Grader twice, and the Pursina's Spikes needs to have barely or no charge at all.

Bring Friends to Help

The challenge will be easier when you have other players aid you in the challenge, you and the other person can take turns charging up the Pursina's Spikes.

Character	Merits
Ganyu	• Can deal massive Cryo DMG with all her attacks, especially with her AoE Elemental Burst.
Mona	• Can spread Hydro to enemies efficiently, which can give way to a freeze elemental reaction.
Qiqi	• Can heal and deal AoE Cryo DMG.
Zhongli	• Provides excellent shields and his Elemental Burst can petrify enemies.
Hu Tao	• Can deal massive Pryo DMG against the enemies.
Tartaglia	• Can inflict Hydro in his Melee stance, and his Elemental Burst can deal AoE Hydro DMG.
Fischl	• Can shoot the Pursina's Spikes from afar to charge it up. • Can shoot at the Ruin Grader's weak spot.
Sara	• Can deal AoE Electro DMG and can shoot the Pursina's Spikes from afar.

Use a Freeze Team Composition

Use a Cryo and Hydro character to freeze the enemies including the Anomalous Model Ruin Grader in place, so you can either get a breather to charge the Pursina's Spikes or deal more damage to the enemies!
