How to Protect the Pursina's Spikes

Activate the ones near each other immediately using Electro characters like Fischl, Lisa, or Sara. Use Anemo character to crowd control and interrupt the enemies as well to defeat them all fast!

Activate the Pursina's Spikes that are near to each other and the further one, last so you can manage the flow of enemies. Use Anemo to gather the crowd in a single area and unleash an AoE Elemental Burst!

Use the Ayesha's Chaos Prospector to find the challenge area. Bring a Pyro Character with you and activate any heat source you can find in the area before starting the challenge. Bow and catalyst characters will also give you an advantage of protecting the Pursina's Spikes from the distance.

To unlock Phase 2, you need to complete Autonomous Mechanical Energy Source: Preface Event Quest! Go to Ritou and talk to the Hosseini again.

Go to the Sampling Points to Start the Challenge

From the Events Tab in-game, go to the four locations to collect data samples from Pursina's Spikes. The Inactive Devices from Phase 1 became a challenge device for Phase 2!

How to Use Pursina's Spikes

To use the Pursina's Spikes, you need to use Electro attacks to charge it up periodically. However, a charging Pursina's Spikes will attract enemies around the area, you need to protect them from being damaged!

Complete the Special Sampling Points

The Special Sampling Points are challenges that can only be unlocked once you finish all the initial Sampling Points. You need to use the Ayesha's Chaos Prospector to look for the challenge area, which will spawn the Pursina's Spikes and the challenge mechanism!
