Competitive Analysis

Noble Roar is a great stat-reducing move as it can bypass accuracy checks to weaken offensive Pokemon.

This move lowers the Attack and Special Attack stat of the target, which is very useful against mixed attackers that rely on either physical or special attacks.

Noble Roar and Sound-Based Mechanics

Noble Roar is best used by special attackers while holding Throat Spray, as using this move will consume the item and raise the holder's Special Attack.

Do watch out for Throat Chop, as this bars the user from using any sound-based moves, including Noble Roar, for two turns. Additionally, Pokemon with Soundproof are immune to this move.
