Double Team Competitive Analysis

Double Team is a stat-boosting move that raises the user's evasiveness by one stage. This is a good defensive move as it allows you to potentially dodge super effective moves. Ideally you want to use this move on a faster Pokemon, this way you get immediate value on the turn Double Team was used.

However, raising evasiveness was never a priority in competitive battles. Instead, we suggest raising your other defensive stat by way or Reflect or Light Screen.

Double Team can only be learned via Egg Move, Level Up, or by Default.
