Competitive Analysis

Power Trick is a status Psychic-type move. It switches the user's Attack stat to its Defense stat.

This move works best with Shuckle, who has 230 base Defense. Power Trick allows Shuckle to have an insane 230 base attack, but doing so will leave it extremely vulnerable as it suffers from low Speed and its Defense will be switched to 10 after Power Trick.

Power Trick can also work with Aegislash and its Stance Change Ability, but it will generally waste turns using an attack, Power Trick, and King's Shield which could be used for something else.
