Best Fungi for Zone Defense Day 2
Best Fungi Team Comps for Day 2
You will need the Floating Dendro Fungus to bring down the Hydro Abyss Mage's shield. Afterwards, you have to burst down the Hilichurls during the Abyss Mage's downtime, so you'll need all the best DPS fungi and combination of Melt and Burning to do this!
You may switch Stretchy Electro Fungus to Floating Hydro Fungus if you need healing or Hydro application.

Mix Melt and Burning reactions by triggering Dendro and Cryo with Pyro to burst down your opponents. Using this on the Hilichurl with a wooden shield is recommended.

When the Hilichurls are around the Hydro Abyss Mage, you can create and trigger the Dendro Cores to the Mage's shield to deal devastating Burgeon damage to all enemies around it!
How to Get 2000 Points in Zone Defense Day 2
Aim to protect the Monolith above 60%
Aim to have your Monolith's HP above 60%, and have none of your Fungi to be incapacitated to get 2000 points . An HP of around 50% to 60% will still give you 2000 points, but too risky when you go below the recommended percentage.
Focus on Shields, then the Hilichurls
The second stage can be tough without actively micromanaging your Fungi's target. Continuously change targets so any loose Hilichurls won't damage the Monolith. The recommended priority of targets you'll need to follow are as follows:
| Hydro Abyss Mage's Shield → Wooden Shield Hilichurl → Other Hilichurls → Downed Hydro Abyss Mage |
Switch to Hilichurls after destroying the Hydro Abyss Mage's Shield
The Hydro Abyss Mage won't do much when its shield is down, so immediately direct your focus to the Hilichurls! Only focus the Hydro Abyss Mage if it tries to regenerate its shield.
