Focus on directing the Stretchy Pyro Fungus to the shielded Large Cryo Slimes to bring down its shield. When the Large Cryo Slime discharges its dangerous Cryo mist, have the Floating Hydro Fungus ready for immediate healing!

Bring down Hydro Abyss Mage's shields with a combination of Dendro, Cryo, and Burgeon attacks! Dendro is Hydro's weakness, so you can spam the Floating Dendro Fungus' abilities to bring its shield down.

Similar in the first phase, you will have to bring down the Frostarm Lawachurl's shield with the Stretchy Pyro Fungus. If the Lawachurl does the jumping Cryo attack, it will leave down a damaging ice field. Use the Floating Hydro Fungus' healing ability to survive!

Mix a combination of Melt and Burning reactions by placing both Dendro and Cryo before finishing with Pyro. For enemies with innate Cryo status, you only need to apply Dendro first!

Burgeon with the Stretchy Pyro Fungus is a fast and effective way to utilize the Dendro Cores in Phase 2. For Hydro Abyss Mages, you may opt to skip the Floating Hydro Fungus as the Floating Dendro Fungus will make Dendro Cores on the shields by default.
Focus your target on enemies with Elemental Shields and break them with the appropriate Element. Cryo shields are weak against Pyro, and Hydro shields are weak against Dendro.
With the addition of Floating Dendro Fungus, you can now create Dendro Cores to help you defeat enemies through reactions! Using Stretchy Pyro Fungus is recommended to trigger the cores as it also deals AoE Dendro Damage, which can bring down a Hydro shield!
Dendro Element and Reactions Guide
The Floating Hydro Fungus' healing is essentially a must for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The Cryo fields that the Large Cryo Slime and Frostarm Lawachurl do can bring down your Fungi health down to zero fast, so make sure that you have the Hydro Fungus' skill ready!
