The Frostbearing Tree is one of the key locations in Dragonspine. This is an ancient tree that is located in one of the region's snowy Mountains.

Crimson Agate

While exploring around Dragonspine you will encounter Crimson Agate. You can collect this along the way and offer it to the Frostbearing Tree.

Crimson Agate is limited around the areas of Dragonspine, which is why it's important to complete Crimson Wish missions.

How to Unlock the Frostbearing Tree

Use Scarlet Quartz

To unlock the Frostbearing Tree, you must use the Scarlet Quartz located around it. Pick one up and hit the pillar once to thaw it out. Do this 4 times and you can unlock the Frostbearing Tree.

In the Mountains Objective!

Unlocking the Frostbearing Tree is also one of the main objectives for the In the Mountains quest.

Frostbearing Tree Offering

After offering enough Crimson Agate to the Frostbearing Tree, you will be able to raise its level and gain a set of rewards.

Crimson Wish Missions

After reaching Level 8 on the Frostbearing Tree, you will unlock the Crimson Wish Missions. There will be 5 available missions that will refresh on Monday and Friday.

Completing each mission will reward you with 1 Crimson Agate, which will help you level up.

Offering Crimson Agate not only allows you to level up, but you will also gain rewards for each level.

Reward Items

Warming Bottle (Level 4)

This new item helps slow down the Sheer Cold Effect, allowing you to last longer while exploring Dragonspine.

The Warming Bottle has a 120s cooldown after every use. You can craft this item using a Flaming Flower Stamen and Starsilver.

Namecard: Frostbearing Tree (Level 9)

Reaching Level 9 will give you a new Frostbearing Tree Namecard.

Catalyst Weapon: Frostbearer (Level 10)

You can also get a diagram to craft the new Frostbearer at Level 10, which is a weapon with strong Catalyst with Cryo effects.

Wings of Concealing Snow (Level 12)

One of the final rewards you'll get for maxing out the Frostbearer Tree is the Wings of Concealing Light.
