How to Use Sticky Barb

The Sticky Barb has the effect of dealing damage 1/8 of the Maximum HP every turn while being able to latch on to an attacker making a Contact Move.

This item can be useful for defensive and stall teams that don't do much contact damage since this can deal residual damage over time. Pokemon with the moves Thief (TM23) or Switcheroo can also benefit from this by trading this as a held item to an opposing Pokemon.
