Unlike its previous form in Generation 1, Gigantamax Venusaur's pink flower with white spots on its back is now larger. The petals are also pointing down, giving the flower an umbrella shape. It also has a double crown-like mini flower at the center with red halo smoke at the top.

How to Get Gigantamax Venusaur

Receive as a Gift on the Isle of Armor

Gigantamax Venusaur only appears in the Isle of Armor which is included in the Expansion Pass DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Near the beginning of your adventure on The Isle of Armor, you'll be able to choose between a Bulbasaur or a Squirtle. If you choose Bulbasaur, you can evolve it into a Venusaur, and what's more, it automatically starts out with Gigantamax potential! The Bulbasaur obtained in this way will have its standard Ability Overgrow and three perfect IVs.

If you want to Gigantamax a different Venusaur, you'll need to collect three Max Mushrooms to make Max Soup for it. This feature is only available in The Isle of Armor DLC.

When downloading the mobile version of Pokemon HOME for the first time, you can receive a Hidden Ability Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle as a free gift. You can evolve the Bulbasaur obtained in this way to get a Venusaur with its Hidden Ability, Chlorophyll! Using Max Soup on this Squirtle, or a Squirtle bred from it, is the easiest way to get a Gigantamax Chlorophyll Venusaur.
