Moves that Change Abilities

Moves Type Effect
Entrainment Pokemon Normal Image The user dances with an odd rhythm that compels the target to mimic it, making the target's ability the same as the user's
Simple Beam Pokemon Normal Image The user's mysterious psychic wave changes the target's Ability to Simple.
Skill Swap Pokemon Psychic Image The user employs its psychic power to exchange Abilities with the target.
Transform Pokemon Normal Image The user transforms into a copy of target right down to having the same move set.
Worry Seed Pokemon Grass Image A seed that causes worry is planted on the target. It prevents sleep by making the target's Ability Insomnia.

What are Moves that Change Abilities

These moves alter the ability of the user or the target depending on the what was used. Note that the effect will only lasts during the duration of the battle and won't carry over afterwards.

They moves are useful for countering *Pokemon that rely on powerful abilities or buffing the capabilities of the user by giving it a better Ability.

Abilities that Change Abilities

Ability Description
Imposter It transforms itself into the Pokemon it is facing.
Mummy Contact with this Pokemon spreads this Ability.
Receiver Inherits an ally's ability when it faints.
Trace The Pokemon copies a foe's Ability.
Wandering Spirit The Pokémon exchanges Abilities with a Pokémon that hits it with a move that makes direct contact.
