Effect An item to be held by a Pokemon. It boosts Attack if hit with an Electric-type attack. It can only be used once.

You can pick up a Cell Battery along the road on the right side of the Battle Tower.

Exchange for BP at the Battle Tower

Cell Battery can be obtained at the BP Shop in exchange for 10 BP. The BP Shop is located in the Battle Tower at Wyndon.

How to Use Cell Battery

Give to your Physical Attacker

Cell Battery raises the user's Attack stat by one stage. This is specially useful when held by Physical Attackers such as Scizor, Dragonite, Rillaboom, etc.

Note that Cell Battery doesn't work if your Pokemon is unaffected by Electric-type moves. So a Ground-type Pokemon won't be able to make use of Cell Battery.
