Competitive Analysis

Psych Up is a great way of replicating any stat-boosts used in a same turn.

A great way of using Psych Up is by letting an ally Pokemon raise its stats and then letting a Psych Up user copy the changes.

This could be offensive boosts from Swords Dance or Calm Mind, or defensive boosts from Amnesia or Cosmic Power. By doing so, you can marginally improve your Pokemon on the field in just a single turn!

You can also copy the stat changes of your opponent, whether when they're beefing up their Attack or Special Attack stats before attacking or raising their Defense or Special Defense stat to be more durable.

Psych Up Locations

Psych Up is only available by Level Up or via Egg Move.
