Competitive Analysis

Minimize can be quite annoying to anyone if used properly, as it sharply raises the user's evasiveness, allowing it to dodge moves.

This move can be used to maximize the effects of damaging status conditions like being burned or poisoned, especially if your opponent is fitted with low accuracy moves.

Minimize Counters

The best strategy against Pokemon that used Minimize is using damaging moves that never miss. These moves bypass accuracy checks and will hit Pokemon no matter how evasive they are.

These include specific moves that are always bound to hit Minimized Pokemon, even if these moves normally have accuracy values. Examples of these moves are Body Slam and Stomp

Another effective tactic is using Lock-On or Mind Reader, although it will take longer and is less efficient as it needs at least two turns.
