Competitive Analysis

Pollen Puff is useful due to its nature to either deal damage to opposing Pokemon or to heal your ally Pokemon for 50% of their health.

This move offers much flexibility for many teams whether they be offensive or defensive due to the nature of the effects. It's especially good in Doubles and is an alternative to Heal Pulse.
