Crystal Core Locations

Crystal Cores are obtained by catching Crystalflies. Each region has their own elemental variants of Crystalflies but they will all give you the same item.

Genshin - Crystal Core Talent1
Crystal Core is a material that can be collected by catching Crystalflies. It is recommended to use Sayu or Yaoyao's passive talent so that it makes them easier to catch. Night-time also makes them easier to spot since they glow.

Crystalflies differ in appearance depending on where you find them. The form of crystalflies commonly match the element of the Nation they belong to: Anemo for Mondstadt, Geo for Liyue, Electro for Inazuma, Dendro for Sumeru, Hydro for Fontaine, Pyro for Natlan, and in a special case, Cryo for Dragonspine.

In Nod-Krai, Moonglow Firefly are present rather than the traditional elemental crystalflies.
