List of Contents
Miracle Seed | |
Effect | An item to be held by a Pokemon. It's a seed imbued with life force that boosts the power of Grass-type moves. |
---|
A Miracle Seed can be found in the Forest of Focus area of the Isle of Armor DLC.
Forest of Focus Map and Obtainable Pokemon
If you choose Grookey as your starter, it will give you a Miracle Seed when you arrive in Motostoke.
The following Pokemon may hold the item, Miracle Seed. You can get it by using the move Thief or Trick.
Cherubi | Cherrim | Maractus | Pumpkaboo |
Offensive Grass-type Pokemon will benefit from Miracle Seed as it boosts Grass-type moves by 20%, and also stacks with STAB.
Do note that this only affects Grass-type moves and will not power up other moves, like moves you chose for covering the Pokemon's weaknesses for example.
Miracle Seed is a great item for Grass-type attackers, but sometimes you may think that Choice Band or Choice Specs may be the better item.
Advantage | Disadvantage | |
---|---|---|
Miracle Seed | ・20% damage boost to Grass-type moves ・Can use all moves |
・Only boost Grass-type moves |
Choice Band or Choice Specs | ・50% boost to Atk/Sp.Atk | ・Locked to one move |
Whichever item you should use will depend on what you want to achieve with your Pokemon.
If your Pokemon will only rely on one Grass-type move, then a Choice item is the better option. If you think your Pokemon needs to use a coverage or any other move somewhere down the road, use Miracle Seed.
