    Boi... what? The above article is 100% correct. NEVER train speed on aegislash. King Shield is a +4 priority move. So you can switch to the shield as a priority. Whenever you attack, you should always hit AFTER you tanked the shot in shield form. My aegislash runs 0 speed IVs, and 0 EV investment. If You ever run into another aegislash that has 1 point in speed, you will win the 1v1 100% of the time, unless you have 2 brain cells.

    that's not true. stance change does only switch the base stat value, so the EV should be spent on SpA not SpD

    You need to EV Train 252 HP, 252 SpD, and 4 SpA due to the nature of the stance change. If you EV train 252 SpA not only will you be missing dmg but you will gain defense in the sword form which you should NEVER be hit in with a low speed aegislash
