1st Battle (Motostoke) Strategy

Do NOT use Water-type moves on Croagunk!

Croagunk has the ability Dry Skin, which allows him to recover HP from an enemy's Water-type moves. Bench your Water-type Pokemon, and strike his weak point with Psychic or Flying moves.

Use a Pokemon with higher speed than Morpeko

Marnie's Morpeko has the move Bite, which can cause flinching. If you strike before Morpeko, flinching will have no effect on your Pokemon, so be sure and use a Pokemon with a high speed stat or one that is just a higher level when battling it.
