Belly Drum Competitive Analysis

Belly Drum is one of the strongest stat-boosting move in the game. This move maximizes your Pokemon's Attack stat but in exchange, it takes damage equal to half of its HP.

Because of the effect, this move is more commonly used on physical sweepers such as Charizard and Snorlax.

Additionally, this is often paired with a Sitrus Berry which heals the user for 25% of its max HP. The Berry essentially halves Belly Drum's damage.
