Gear Grind Competitive Analysis

Gear Grind hits the target twice making it a good way to break effects of Substitute, Focus Sash, and Sturdy. Since it hits twice, this move technically has 100 base power.

Note that both strikes have separate accuracy checks. Meaning even if the first one hits, its not a guarantee that the second one will.
List of Multi-Hit Moves

Gear Grind Locations

Gear Grind is the signature move of the Klinklang line, thus making it the only Pokemon that can learn the move.
