Torment Competitive Analysis

Torment is a status move the prevents the target from using the same move twice in a row.

This is useful in situations where you want to prevent certain Pokemon from executing the same strategy twice in a row. For example, a dedicated redirection user will not be able to use moves like Follow Me or Rage Powder in consecutive turns.

However, we recommend simply using Taunt as it is superior in majority of situations.

Torment Locations

Torment can only be learned via Egg Move, Level Up, or by Default.
