Competitive Analysis

Mist Ball is Latias' signature move. This move has 50% chance to lower its target's Special Attack stat.

Mist Ball can be used against special attackers as it has a chance to weaken its offenses by dropping its Special Attack and making them ineffective in doing their role.

Do note however that this move will not work against Pokemon with the Bulletproof Ability.
