Aeroblast Competitive Analysis

Aeroblast Lugia
Aeroblast is a great STAB move for Lugia as it gets boosted power in addition to the increased critical-hit ratio.

This move has been used by Lugia ever since it was introduced in Generation II. That alone should tell you how strong this move is, surviving 6 Generations of power creep.

Some player run Razor Claw on Lugia to maximize the critical-hit ratio. However, that is unnecessary as Aeroblast already gets boosted by Lugia's high stats and STAB.

Aeroblast Locations

Aeroblast is the signature move of Lugia, thus making it the only Pokemon that can learn the move.
