Roost Competitive Analysis

Roost is a premier choice for most of the Pokemon that can learn it. This move restores the user's HP by half of its max HP, making it one of the stronger HP restoring moves in the game.

This also has the additional effect of removing the Flying-type on the Pokemon for that turn. Meaning, if the Pokemon is dual-typed it will only consider the non-Flying one until the end of the turn. Due to this, the Pokemon will be hit by Ground-type moves due to the lack of Flying-typing.

Roost Locations

Roost can only be learned via Egg Move, Level Up, or by Default.
